"Hi! I am Breanne, a MD/PhD candidate at IU with free time to tutor science and math. I graduated summa cum laude from the Honors College at NC State University with a bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Currently, I am in my third year as a PhD candidate in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at IU. I love research, specifically cancer research. I am going to school to become a clinical professor, so teaching/mentoring young minds is something I’m very passionate about and looking forward to share with you all.

I have ten years of peer tutoring experiences, starting in undergrad. At NC State, I worked at the chemistry peer tutor center and the Student Athlete tutoring center. In my gap years before grad school, I was a teacher at Sylvan learning center where I tutored student ages 5-18. From these experiences, I am very comfortable tutoring most levels of high school and college science (biology, chemistry, anatomy, biochemistry), math (algebra/2, precalculus, calculus, statistics), and test prep (SAT, ACT, MCAT). I focus on concrete study and analytical skills that can translate to multiple classes. I am also great with prioritizing content study for tests and developing test taking skills for coursework and for standardized testing.

I am passionate about education and STEM, so I am always excited to share what I have learned from my 10+ years in this field.
