"I am a physician (MD), NIH-funded postdoctoral research fellow, and current PhD student in Clinical Investigation at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. My academic and professional journey has given me deep expertise in physiology, neuroscience, anatomy, pharmacology, research methods, and evidence-based medicine—subjects I now enjoy teaching to motivated learners at all stages of their academic careers.

Over the past five years, I’ve taught undergraduate and graduate students in a variety of settings: as a small-group facilitator, lecturer, and one-on-one tutor. At UW–Madison and Madison College, I’ve helped pre-health and nursing students master complex concepts in human biology and prepare for exams like the MCAT. I also work with medical students navigating systems-based content, clinical reasoning, and board exam preparation (including USMLE Step 1 and Step 2 material).

My tutoring style is adaptable and student-centered. I begin by identifying each learner’s goals, strengths, and sticking points. From there, I build a customized learning plan that blends foundational understanding with strategic test prep or applied clinical knowledge. Whether we're tackling CARS passages, breaking down renal physiology, or designing a research poster, I make sure students leave each session more confident and better equipped to meet their objectives.

I specialize in working with college, post-bac, and graduate students, but I have also successfully supported high school students preparing for advanced science coursework or healthcare career exploration. My approach is empathetic, rigorous, and tailored to the unique needs of each learner. I’m here not only to teach—but to listen, motivate, and help students succeed on their own terms." less...
