"I am Isaac, a mechanical engineer working in the mining and industrial space. I attended the University of Utah, where I received both a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering. I was drawn towards engineering as a young adult; I have always been a curious person, and like learning how things work, how things are made, and how they can be made to be better. I am a sucker for a project, and love working on mechanical things and solving problems. In my current engineer role, I have refined a lot of the skills I learned in school, especially 3D modeling and design, technical drawing, and problem solving.

In graduate school, I was a teaching assistant in the machine shop for the manufacturing courses. Not only did this provide me the opportunity to sharpen my design and manufacturing skills, but also gave me valuable teaching experience leading labs and helping students with their projects. I enjoy teaching; especially in 1:1 or small group settings like I had there.
