"Hello and thank you for considering me as your tutor! I have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and over four years of experience helping students succeed in math, physics, chemistry, and mechanical engineering topics. Whether you're in high school or college—or returning to academics later in life—I've worked with learners across a wide age range, including those with ADHD and other learning differences. I started with one-on-one tutoring and expanded into small group sessions, both in person and online. Along the way, I’ve also earned several MATLAB certifications and used the platform extensively throughout my academic and research work.
When we work together, I focus on building your understanding of the subject rather than just helping you memorize formulas. I take the time to explain the "why" behind the methods, break complex problems into manageable steps, and tailor examples to fit your interests. I have a library of custom practice problems and real-world applications to help reinforce what we cover. My goal is not just to get you through a course or test, but to help you feel confident and capable in the subject so that you can tackle future challenges with independence.
Every student has unique goals, and I take the time to understand yours. Whether you’re aiming to raise a grade, master a tough concept, or prepare for an upcoming exam, I’ll build a plan around your learning style and schedule. We’ll check in regularly to measure your progress and adjust as needed. My tutoring style is flexible, supportive, and always centered around helping you succeed in the way that works best for you." less...
