"Hi, My name is Jon B, I am a recent graduate from New York Institute of Technical with a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering! I had joined the National Society of Leadership and Success and engaged in many clubs such as the Entrepreneurship Club and the Robotics club. Recently I have taken College Boards practice SAT’s and scored multiple 800s in Math. In college, I saw brilliant students fail, not from lack of effort, but from lack of the right guidance. That’s why I teach, to ensure that I give my students everything and more needed to succeed and hope to inspire and empower every single person I engage with.

My tutoring experience has varied from friends at college in the library (sometimes at 2am) to 1 year of professional SAT Math and Homework Help in groups, and sometimes 1 on 1, averaging usually around 2 students and no more than 3 students. During these sessions I would predominantly cover Algebra, Geometry, Statistics and Probability, Calculus and Physics. Something that I firmly believe makes me stand out is my ability to work and push high achievers but cater towards a student struggling with a poor foundation. I try to teach philosophy about learning and understanding before approaching the problem, trying to build the foundation for those missing, or give a framework to overperformers. Following this method my students routinely improve their SAT Math scores by 150-250 points, and I’ve helped both high-achievers and struggling learners excel through a proven step-by-step approach.
