"I’m a recent Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) graduate with deep expertise in math and physics. My degree demanded mastery of calculus (I–III, multivariable, differential equations), statics, dynamics, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and college-level physics (mechanics, E&M). I graduated with top grades and a genuine passion for turning tough concepts into clear, real-world understanding.
I’m also exceptionally qualified for test prep. As an incoming Air Force officer (62E Developmental Engineer), I just scored in the top percentiles on the AFOQT: Pilot 99, CSO 95, ABM 99, Academic 97, Verbal 97, Quantitative 90. That experience makes me uniquely effective at helping students crush the SAT, ACT, AFOQT, and similar exams.
My tutoring style is patient, encouraging, and rooted in first principles: I start with core fundamentals to build a rock-solid foundation, then layer on complexity while emphasizing real-world applicability. This makes abstract ideas intuitive and relevant. I break problems down step-by-step, draw clear diagrams, pose guiding questions to spark active learning, and provide instant feedback on practice problems. Students leave not just knowing “how” but truly grasping “why.”
Throughout my BSME, I regularly tutored classmates one-on-one and in small groups, helping them tackle calculus-based physics, differential equations, statics, and more to achieve great results. I’ve also worked with local high school and middle school students on algebra through AP Physics/Calculus.
I tutor middle school through college levels in math (all levels), physics, and test prep (SAT/ACT/AFOQT). Sessions are in person or online, via Wyzant or Zoom. I offer a free 15–20 minute intro call (no obligation) and require only 12-hour cancellation notice.
I'm excited to partner with you on your academic journey and help you build lasting confidence in math, physics, and beyond." less...
