"I’m a current Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Delaware with a strong background in math and a genuine passion for working with kids. I’ve supported students in grades K through 12 in subjects like elementary math, prealgebra, algebra, geometry, and even calculus. I’ve worked one-on-one and in group settings through my role as an after-school counselor with the Police Athletic League of Delaware and other school districts, where I regularly tutored students and helped them with schoolwork.

Outside of my work experience, I come from a big family with nine siblings, and I began tutoring them long before I ever worked in formal programs. That experience taught me how to be patient, creative, and adaptable in how I explain things because every student learns differently. It’s also where my love for teaching really began.

I believe in meeting students where they are, breaking down concepts in a way that feels approachable and never overwhelming. My tutoring style is patient, encouraging, and centered on building trust and understanding. Because I’m a college student myself, I know how frustrating math can feel and how rewarding it is when it finally clicks. I love watching the moment when a student realizes they can actually do it.
