"My passion for engineering has always gone hand in hand with teaching. While earning my Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, I became deeply involved in STEM education and mentoring programs at the University of Connecticut, where I supported students across a wide range of technical backgrounds and learning styles.

At UConn, I served as a peer mentor, counselor, and STEM educator, helping students strengthen their foundations in core engineering subjects while also building confidence in their problem-solving abilities. I worked with students in both structured academic programs and informal learning environments, which taught me how to explain complex concepts clearly, patiently, and in multiple ways until they truly clicked.

My tutoring focuses on many STEM areas math (algebra, geometry, calculus), science (biology, chemity, physics) and engineering (mechanical, civil, structural). I emphasize understanding concepts rather than memorization, walking students through problems step by step and helping them recognize patterns that make engineering problems feel manageable instead of overwhelming.

Beyond teaching, I have professional experience in the aerospace industry. My work includes component design and testing as well as mechanical and structural analysis using tools such as NX and ANSYS. This allows me to connect theory to real-world applications—something many students find especially helpful when preparing for exams or transitioning into industry.

My teaching style is supportive, structured, and results-driven. I aim to create a learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and growing their confidence in STEM.
