"Does your child struggle with or hate school? Is homework a constant battle? My name is Corrie Bowman Ostrem and I can help solve those frustrations. Having taught 20 years in a full time classroom setting and over 1,000 students in grades 2-7, I know how to redirect confusion, stop-out misconceptions, and break down difficult concepts into small, manageable pieces. As a gifted and talented educator, I also know how to extend and enrich concepts to support a learner's true ability and potential.

I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction, both from Montana State University- Billings. I specialize in gifted education, ESL, and K-8 math, science, and reading. My live teaching experience has been in multiple US states and overseas countries, working in a variety of public, private, and bilingual schools. Additionally, I have worked as a private tutor for 10 years, successfully teaching over 3,300 online lessons as a freelance, ESL, math, and science instructor.

I am passionate in my commitment to three things as an educator: maximizing individual student academic performance, helping students foster a strong self-esteem and self-worth, and encouraging student participation and dedication to their community. I have written curriculum, created programs, won awards, coached activities, traveled the world, raised my own children, and cooperated with families to create the best learning opportunities for their children.
