"As a current medical student at Rocky Vista University, I have a strong academic foundation in the sciences and a wide range of experience in tutoring and mentoring students. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with a minor in Chemistry from Utah State University, and I’ve worked extensively with students from high school through early medical school levels. I am especially passionate about helping students navigate challenging subjects and standardized tests, including the ACT and MCAT.

I have served as a peer tutor at my medical school, working one-on-one with first-year students to help them understand foundational medical concepts and build confidence in their academic abilities. My tutoring approach is patient and tailored to each student’s learning style, with a focus on breaking complex material into manageable pieces. I also help pre-med students with medical school applications, including reviewing personal statements and offering mentorship on interview preparation. My experience as an Ultrasound Scholar and involvement in student leadership positions has strengthened my ability to teach, communicate clearly, and lead educational workshops.
