"As an incoming medical student with an M.S. in Biomedical Sciences and a B.S. in Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience from the University of Michigan, I bring a strong academic foundation and years of experience in clinical research, mentorship, and science communication. My background includes research in orthopedic trauma, cardiovascular health, and the psychosocial effects of public health inequities, which allows me to connect textbook concepts to real-world applications. I’m confident tutoring students in biology, anatomy, neuroscience, Spanish, and pre-med preparation.

My teaching and tutoring experience spans several years and diverse learning environments. As a Team Lead Tutor for Wolverine Pathways, I helped manage tutoring sessions for over 600 middle and high school students. I also served as Vice President of Internal Affairs for the Black Undergraduate Medical Association, where I led a mentorship program for over 30 aspiring healthcare professionals. Additionally, I’ve worked with younger students through the Refugee Empowerment Program and mentored high schoolers pursuing higher education and STEM careers.
