"Hello! My name is Adil, and I am a rising third-year dental student with prior medical school training. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience, graduating Summa Cum Laude with a 3.9+ GPA. After undergraduate education, I completed three years of medical school before transitioning to dental school, where I continue my training with a strong emphasis on biomedical sciences and clinical application. Throughout my academic career, I have developed a solid foundation in biology, general and organic chemistry, biochemistry, physiology, pathology, and pharmacology. I scored a 25 on the Dental Admission Test (DAT), placing me in the top 10% of test takers, and also performed well on the pharmacology sections of the USMLE.
My tutoring experience includes one-on-one and small-group instruction for students ranging from pre-college through professional school. I work with premed, predent, medical, and dental students, focusing on building strong conceptual understanding and effective study strategies for coursework and exam-based assessments. My approach emphasizes how to think through questions, recognize common testing patterns, and apply concepts efficiently rather than relying on memorization. Sessions are structured yet flexible: I assess baseline understanding, teach core concepts using clear frameworks, and reinforce learning through guided practice and active recall.
As a tutor, my goal is to make challenging material approachable while maintaining academic rigor. I strive to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence. I am patient, reliable, and responsive, and I tailor each session to a student’s goals, learning style, and academic level. I am committed to helping students develop strong foundations, effective study habits, and the skills needed to succeed academically and on high-stakes exams." less...
