"Hi! My name is Deirdre and I am a 4th year Medical Student at University of Connecticut School of Medicine, planning on applying into Internal Medicine. I graduated magna cum laude from College of the Holy Cross. I began tutoring in high school as a NHS tutor, covering subjects of all kinds (english, math, genetics, chemistry). In college, I served as a Teaching Assistant for the biology department and an academic tutor for STEM courses. I also was the chair of a volunteer office hours for the biology department. I received a scholarship from Holy Cross for my academic achievements within the sciences and was the president of American Medical Student Association at the college.
