"Hi, I'm Amanda! I graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor's in Chemistry. I have loved tutoring since I was in high school and its a passion I've been able to continue. I started tutoring elementary students to help them with their reading and comprehension in both Spanish and English. During my undergraduate years, I tutored Organic Chemistry, General Chemistry and Biochemistry. It's always my personal mission to identify various ways of explaining the material until the students let me know that they understand it. Most of my experience was in small group settings, but I also have done many one-on-one sessions.

I am currently a medical student that will soon graduate. For the last 2 years, I have been mentoring high school and undergraduate students interested in getting graduate education in the the healthcare field. We discuss college essays, personal statements, MCAT preparation, and the tools and resources needed for a strong medical school application. I have already helped two students be admitted to medical school and I hope to keep this number expanding.
