"Hello! My name is Prasanth, and I am currently a third-year medical student. I graduated Magna cum laude with a double major in Biomedical sciences and Psychology with a minor in biophysics. I began tutoring while in high school, I graduated from the International Baccalaureate program and I conducted most of my volunteer hours tutoring middle school students. In undergrad, I tutored underclassmen in subjects such as chemistry, biology, and statistics. Then in medical school, I was the teacher’s assistant to classes I completed and excelled in such as cell biology, physiology, and pathology. During the past year, I’ve gained a lot of experience through tutoring with Varsity tutors and have achieved great outcomes for many students along the way. I’ve tutored extensively in middle school math, geometry, algebra, pre-algebra, statistics, biology, and chemistry. Some of the students I’ve worked with have come back to work with me in later classes and I find it even more gratifying to see them grow consistently across different subjects. Along my path, I’ve realized how my passion lies in tutoring almost anything math and science-related and I feel like I have a knack for helping others understand complex information.

I approach tutoring with the goal of breaking down complex concepts into smaller, more understandable parts. Seeing students experience that "a-ha" moment when they finally understand a difficult concept is incredibly rewarding. I believe that every child can learn math and science if taught in a way that sparks their curiosity and helps them connect the dots. My focus is not just on improving grades but also on ensuring students truly understand the material.
