"Hello! My name is Kareem, and I graduated Cum Laude from San Diego State University with a degree in Biology, where I followed the pre-medical track. I later earned a master’s degree in Medical Sciences at Boston University School of Medicine, which gave me a deeper and more rigorous foundation in subjects such as biology, biochemistry, physiology, and pathology. I’m currently pursuing my MD as a medical student and continue to engage with this material daily. Throughout my academic journey, I’ve developed a wide range of study techniques and evidence-based learning strategies that I love sharing with students to help them succeed—especially in challenging pre-med or health science courses.
My tutoring experience began during undergrad, where I worked with Division I, II, and III student-athletes at SDSU. I tutored them one-on-one in general biology and general chemistry, often supporting students who were balancing intensive athletic schedules with demanding coursework. I focused on breaking down complex concepts, reinforcing foundational knowledge, and helping students feel more confident in their ability to tackle difficult material. Since then, I’ve continued to work with students across different academic levels— I tailor my approach to meet each student’s unique learning style and goals, whether through active recall, spaced repetition, visual aids, or step-by-step problem solving.
I strive to create a tutoring environment that’s welcoming, engaging, and focused on true understanding rather than memorization. Whether you're looking for help catching up, acing an exam, or just building stronger study habits, I'm here to support you. I welcome questions, resources, and collaboration, and I’m committed to helping each student feel confident and capable in their learning journey." less...
