"Hey everyone! My name is Mark. I am a medical resident at one of the top ten hospitals in the US with over ten years of experience of providing college, medical, and graduate school admissions support as well as tutoring at high school, university, and graduate level .

I am flexible in my approach to tutoring so I can adapt to meet the needs of all of my students and explain content in a way that both makes sense to them and stays with them as they advance to higher levels of science education.

My teaching experience has been at KIPP San Jose Collegiate High School, the number 4 ranked high school in California and the 18th highest ranked school in the nation. I have also taught special education at Samuel A Kirk School in Palatine, IL. I am now living on the North side of Chicago but am open to commuting throughout the Chicago area.

I have taught in both general education and special education classrooms which has made me comfortable with diverse learning styles and creative in how I present material to students. My approach is to have you understand the concepts and not just memorize what is supposed to be on the exam and I am comfortable explaining things from several different approaches to see what makes the most sense to my students.
