"Kevin is a medical student at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. He has been tutoring for nearly 8 years.

Kevin graduated from the University of Maryland (UMD) in 2023 with a double BS in Biological Sciences and Economics. He recieved a MPhil in Medical Science from the University of Cambridge in 2024.

As a college freshman, Kevin created and led a 3-credit molecular biology course through the Student-Initiated Courses program. He continued to serve as a lecturer at UMD for 3 years. By the time he graduated, he was the highest rated teacher in the UMD Biology Department on RateMyProfesor. He was awarded the Andrew Reisse Endowed Teaching Award for "the energy and passion he brings as an educator, as well as his commitment to his students".

In addition to teaching, Kevin has also led and published multiple technical papers in international education journals including Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Education, the Journal of College Science Teaching, and The American Biology Teacher. Kevin is a recipeint of the Governor's Service Award, Churchill Scholarship, Goldwater Scholarship, and is a Rhodes Scholar finalist.

Outside of teaching, Kevin is a cancer researcher, cleantech startup founder, and an avid reader.
