My name is Melissa and I am a meteorologist! Well, a meteorologist turned math teacher now tutor! I have a Bachelor's Degree in Meteorology from Florida State University with a minor in math and am a state certified math educator with 4 years of in classroom experience.

I have taught Algebra 2, Precalculus Honors (includes Trigonometry at the high school level) and AP Precalculus (AP Trigonometry imbedded in the course). When I was in high school I struggled with math and as a teacher I try to teach to THAT student. I became REALLY good at math moving through Calculus 3 and differential equations in college and can now translate complex topics in ways I wish would have been taught to me for easier understanding. I have had MANY students share I helped them find a new love for math and help make the steps and concepts much easier to understand.
