"My name is Kaitlynn. I have a background in both biology and animal care. I graduated from the University of Central Florida with a degree in biology. I became a zookeeper and cared for a variety of species as well as educating the public. I learned that one of my favorite parts about being a zookeeper was helping others make connections to the world around them. I transitioned from being a zookeeper to a science teacher after about 4 years. I have experience teaching both middle and high school students of all ages and skill levels. I was a middle school teacher for 3 years and I am currently a high school teacher. I have taught Earth Space science, Life science, Biology, and Environmental science.
