"I bring a unique mix of academic training, creative passion, and real-world teaching experience to my tutoring. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Humanities with a minor in Sociology from the University of Maryland, and I am currently completing my Master’s in Liberal Studies with a concentration in Communication and Creative Writing.

Before beginning my graduate studies, I served as a military instructor, where I specialized in speech, public speaking, and leadership communication. That experience taught me how to adapt lessons for learners with different strengths, challenges, and goals. Whether I’m coaching someone through a persuasive essay or helping them find confidence in delivering a speech, I draw on those skills to create a supportive and structured learning environment.

Outside of teaching, I am also a published short story author, which has deepened my love for language and storytelling. I enjoy helping students develop their own voice—whether in academic writing, creative projects, or professional communication.
