"Hi! I'm Brandon.

I recently graduated from UC Riverside part of the inaugural class of Actuarial Science students, which has rigorous coursework in Statistics, single and multivariate calculus, as well as various Financial Mathematics topics. In high school, I received a 5 in both AP Calculus AB and BC, a 4 in AP Physics 1, and a 3 in AP Statistics. Despite my lackluster performance in AP Statistics, I have put in countless hours in university studying for my core statistics courses which I feel have adequately covered the material needed for the AP Exam relating to general probability, hypothesis testing, and distribution functions. In addition to these accolades, I have worked as a Kumon Tutor working with multiple kids at once while also helping students understand topics from basic arithmetic up to geometry and calculus making me well rounded as a Math Tutor.

It is my mission to help students understand the subject matter and as a result enjoy what they are doing just a tiny bit more. From my personal experience, I have found that no matter how tedious class assignments appear, the process of struggling, conceptualizing, and learning is what will ultimately bring you satisfaction and gratification in school and is a sort of silver lining when trying to learn subjects you think you have no interest in." less...
