"Hey! My name is Greg. I have been an English teacher since 2012. I currently teach both 7th and 8th grade in a district public school. Previously, I have taught for Eastern Suffolk BOCES at the secondary or high school level. At BOCES, I taught students with learning disabilities, Autism, and emotional disturbances. I am extremely familiar with the NYS ELA Common Core Regents. I helped 81% of my juniors and seniors pass this Regents.

Why do I make a great tutor? I am super friendly and enjoy seeing students succeed. I believe my down-to-earth personality and desire to help others makes me a great tutor. I have had a good amount of success with improving students' reading scores and writing ability. In the past, students have come to me who could not write argumentative essays. I was able to teach them writing structure and help them graduate high school. I make my students a priority and always try to make teaching relatable and fun.
