While I have tutored extensively through Algebra and Geometry, I'd say I specialize in Middle School Math. One reason for that is that not enough teachers seem to connect with the adolescent mind. Young people make sense of their world and their math by understanding WHY. That's why I teach math in a step-by-step way that can be duplicated over and over. The other reason I love middle schoolers i that turning on the lightbulb in math at that age boosts confidence and prepares them for success in math in high school.
