"Tutored for Olympic College. Started with Organic Chemistry and expanded to include Algebra through Calculus and most of the sciences. I was well liked by most of my students and was asked by them to help with other subjects (such as English or Music) that I had to decline.

Mostly my working premise is that the student can learn the material. It is up to me to find a way of presentation that works with the student's background. I use the Socratic method a lot, asking the student questions and building on the response.

I did some Skin diving from 1966 to 1975, and back packing from 1969 to 1975, mostly in the Olympics. I've also done some sailing, both cruising and racing. I managed to place in top three a few time in the local races. I have taught others how to sail. I have some photography experience, including some amateur Astronomy photos of the Hale-Bop comet and other sky features.
