I believe in the "I do; we do, you do" approach - and in keeping students totally engaged/involved in their own learning experience! I teach from the perspective of not just knowing the "how", but also the "why" - thus, minimizing memorization/maximizing understanding!

I have a B.S. in Mathematics and a M.S. in Curriculum and Instruction - and I am certified to teach Mathematics Grades 6 - 12.

Moreover, I have been a highly successful teacher/tutor for 10+ years and what follows are some of my most highlighted achievements: Broward County (sixth-largest school district in the nation) High School Mathematics Teacher of the Year, Monarch High School Teacher of the Year, Best and the Brightest Award Recipient for two successive years and I earned an Instructional Practice Final Score of 4.0 (Perfect Score of 44 out of 44 Innovating Marzano ratings) for the 2017-2018 school year.
