Quality and Quantity are two important elements in the mastery of any subject. A math curriculum that is 5 miles wide and 1/8 inch thick does not provide a strong foundation for further inquiry. If a student is to be successful, there must be a deep base of core knowledge that provides confidence and the incentive to build upon it.
