"Hi there! My name is Vick. I graduated from MIT (majored in Finance) in 2020 and have tutored for over 10 years. I specialize in SAT and ACT prep as well as College Admissions (personal statements and interview prep).

I can help students brainstorm, draft, edit, and refine their college application essays and plan their admissions strategy to ensure they end up at their dream school. Students I have worked with have been accepted into universities such as Harvard, Yale, Stanford, Cornell, MIT, and uPenn to name a few.

Students that I have worked with on test prep have scored near-perfect and perfect scores on the SAT and ACT. I prefer to tutor/work with students 1:1 since it allows for better learning.

When it comes to teaching/tutoring, I think many tutors have a strong background in the subject, but not many consider how important the teaching approach is. I like to emphasize a teaching approach that is patient, encouraging, and understanding!
