"I am a bioengineering Ph.D. candidate at MIT and I have received a bachelor’s degree in Bioengineering from UCLA. Before enrolling in these prestigious universities, I wasn’t a top high school student and I used to feel frustrated about my performance. To change that, I hired a qualified tutor to help me and guide me. The guidance I received is what I desire to give back to students through this community. I want to share knowledge, confidence, and eagerness to learning.

I’ve been a tutor for the past 5 years and the subjects I focus on are all STEM topics covered in undergraduate studies and high school. My target is to see my students achieving their full talent, mastering the subject at hand, and building confidence to work on their own.

As a Ph.D. student, a cornerstone of research is data analysis, which relies heavily on statistical methods and software implementation. My students -at any level- receive an in-depth explanation and interpretations of numbers, formulas, and usage. Also, I cover all math topics in high school and university in sessions tailored around student’s needs.

Science is the essence of our existence. Despite its huge impact on us, it isn’t the favorite topic for everyone. As a person with a strong passion for STEM, I work toward spreading this curiosity around my students. I want to diffuse a thinking pattern that can be adjusted to the student’s level. Also, I aim toward students asking questions and finding answers on their own in such a way that they leave the session with no unclear or confused ideas.

The reason why I am joining this platform is to reach a greater number of students who are looking for a professional tutor to guide them. My sessions are based on student’s needs, weaknesses, and preferences and I am confident that they will exceed expectations." less...
