"Born in Iraq, Ahmed M. earned his B.A. in English Language and Literature from the University of Baghdad. He received his M.A. in Near Eastern Studies from the University of Arizona, where he worked as a Fulbright Language Teaching Assistant and taught Iraqi Arabic. Ahmed has taught Arabic at many universities and colleges, including the College of William and Mary and Cornell University. He is a Certified OPI (Oral proficiency Interview) tester for Arabic Language by ACTFL (American Council For Foreign Language Teaching), and has attended workshops in Language Acquisition and Language Teaching.
