"Hi there, my name is Emily. I received my BS degree in Neuroscience from Brandeis University, where I was a teaching assistant for several pre-med courses. I received my Ph.D. in Molecular Medicine from George Washington University, with Magna Cum Laude honors. Additionally, I have a certificate in Genomic Data Science from Johns Hopkins University.

I completed a postdoctoral research appointment at the National Institutes of Health. I developed cellular therapies to treat patients with cancer I and searched for novel cancer biomarkers in bioinformatic datasets. My academic expertise includes molecular biology, biomedical sciences, genetics, and immunology. I am currently doing similar work at Merck as a Senior Scientist.

I enjoy sharing my knowledge and passion for science with students of any age! I have tutored elementary and middle school students in various subjects through Big Apple Tutoring for several years in New York City.

I am a published author of several scientific papers in high-impact journals; my writing skills are tuned for science.
