"I am a certified English Language Arts and History teacher. I am certified in both subjects for grades 7th-12th. I have six years of experience as an English teacher in the classroom, having taught 7th, 8th, 9th, and 12th grade. This teaching has all been in a curriculum-based, tested setting.

I have two years of tutoring experience involving SAT prep work as well as classroom instruction. This tutoring has come in the form of private companies and informal groups when I was in college. My tutoring involved 8th graders, high school SAT prep, and some elementary coursework.

My tutoring approach involves specifically catering the learning experience to the needs of the student. You tell me what you would like to improve upon or what you would like to learn and I will do everything in my power to help you achieve your goals.
