"I have a B.A. in Elementary Education and a B.A. in Spanish. I taught English in Spain as a Fulbright scholar. I have 6 years of experience tutoring in every grade from kindergarten through 10th, as well as adult learners. I have tutored several subjects, but have the most experience with Math, Spanish, Elementary subjects, and English. I love being able to work with students on these subjects in particular and see improvement in their understanding and their grades! I've tutored many and have received very positive feedback. I want to see the learners I tutor succeed!

I am passionate about working with students to make progress and achieve their personal goals. I have 5 years of experience teaching, most recently in first grade bilingual / dual language classrooms, requiring me to teach in the entire day in Spanish, with the exception of 30 minutes each day.

I love math! I believe that everyone has the ability to be a good mathematician, but this takes patience and practice. I don't believe in drills and time tests; I believe in helping students building a deeper conceptual understanding. I have always enjoyed math myself and have taken many math courses, including receiving credit for AP Calculus. The majority of my tutoring experience has been with math, so this is a subject that I feel very comfortable and excited about helping students with!

I am extremely passionate about the Spanish language. I studied abroad in Spain for a semester and lived and taught there for a school year.
