I am an orchestra conductor, professional oboist, and am published online with materials for the AP Music Theory exam. I have taught International Bacchalaureate (IB) language courses in middle and high school public schools and can help you prepare for their unique format of assessments.

Background: I have two degrees in music (Boston Conservatory of Music, Wichita State), have performed on four continents, and have taught both music and languages in the public schools, private tutoring, and college levels. I am a specialist in the AP Music Theory test, and I have taught music theory and ear training at the high school and college level. Outside of theory, I am an active orchestra conductor, oboist, and teach sight-singing.

Luckily, I am also a heritage speaker of German (thanks Grandma!) and have taught in the public schools in the German state of Rheinland-Pfalz, and German classes in the US. Spanish was also a language I started when I was a young girl and I teach up to the AP Spanish and college levels." less...
