"I currently tutor students in Elementary math, from 1st to 6th grade, Prealgebra (Pre-Algebra) 7th-8th, and Algebra 1. I’m a dedicated tutor with 10+ years of experience supporting students from elementary through high school. I’ve always had a passion for teaching, and I’ve tutored across subjects from math to reading/writing to American Sign Language, helping students build confidence and master challenging concepts.

In each session, I focus on clear short-term and long-term goals, collaborative learning, and practical study strategies. Whether online or in-person, my goal is to make math feel approachable, achievable, and even enjoyable.

I’m a speech–language pathologist by training, which means I have a strong foundation in how students learn, process, and express language. This background gives me a unique advantage when teaching math because so much of math success depends on understanding the language behind the concepts, not just the numbers.
