"My education and experience span nearly 3 decades. I am blessed to be a physical therapist and professor. I completed my entry level clinical degree in 1999 and went on to complete a Masters in Health Science, a Clinical Doctorate in Physical Therapy, and a PhD in Human Behavior. My specialization is movement, which is based on anatomy and function of the human body under normal and abnormal conditions. My clinical specialty is chronic diseases and dysfunctions, and my associated teaching expertise involves anatomy, biomechanics, musculoskeletal disorders, therapeutic exercise, health promotion and wellness. I also have an extensive background in professional writing specifically for scientific papers, case studies, and manuscripts. Truth be told, I love to write as much as I love to teach.

I recall tutoring my friends while in physical therapy school. I went on to complete a residency and fellowship training where I was mentored and then became a mentor for subsequent residents. I was also a continuing education instructor for physical therapists and other professionals.

Teaching has been my life with friends, patients, students, and colleagues.

My teaching philosophy is an active and engaged approach that offers foundational formats on which to expand and grow. The key to learning is a focused approach that offers reasonable connections and functional applications. The key to retention and sustainable learning is challenges problem solving skills.
