"Hello, I’m Matthew! I earned a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Boston University and a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering with a Mathematics minor from Georgia Tech. Alongside my studies, I’ve gained years of tutoring experience and professional engineering work that allow me to connect with learners at every level.

By background, I am an engineer; by heart, I am a teacher. I served as a Head Teaching Assistant at Georgia Tech, guiding teams of 5-7 ambitious students in prototyping biomedical devices. I also tutored K-12 and college students in math and physics, redefining their study skills. I’ve taught engineering tools such as MATLAB and CAD as a Certified SolidWorks Associate. As a certified math instructor, I worked with students from elementary through high school, strengthening their foundation in algebra, geometry, precalculus, and calculus - proficient in math through the collegiate level.

I specialize in making difficult subjects approachable. My tutoring style is boldly user-focused. I adapt to each student’s background, goals, and learning style, creating a true learning partnership.
