"Hi, I'm Clayre! I graduated from the University of Virginia with BA in Philosophy in 2019. I also hold an MSc degree from Queen Mary University of London, where I excelled in interdisciplinary coursework at the medical school and the School of English and Drama. With over 6 years of tutoring experience in the humanities, I am equipped to support middle and high school students as they pursue their academic goals.

When I am not tutoring, I work with a Columbia University child-development focused research lab. I have also worked in higher education mental health research and as an attachment-sensitive classroom teacher. My background informs my holistic approach to teaching; I work to understand my students both academically and psychologically. This enables me to help students name and leverage their varied strengths while meeting and exceeding the requirements of their curriculum.
