"Hello! My name is Phoebe and I hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master of Science in Nursing from Johns Hopkins University. My academic background gives me a strong foundation in both the scientific and human aspects of learning, and my nursing education has equipped me with a deep understanding of complex clinical concepts, critical thinking, and exam preparation. In addition to my formal education, I have experience in the clinical setting explaining medical and health-related information in ways that are clear, approachable and tailored to the individual.

My teaching experience is varied and people-centered. Throughout my training and work, I have provided patient education in clinical settings, helped individuals understand health concepts, treatments, and next steps in a supportive and accessible way. I have also taught adults through yoga instruction, where I developed a calm, encouraging, and confidence-building teaching style. Earlier teaching experiences, including swim instruction and caregiving roles, strengthened my ability to meet learners where they are, adapt to different learning styles, and build trust quickly.
