I am a student-centered tutor who is interested in tutoring motivated students. I am flexible and creative in my tutoring methods. I recognize the fact that each student has individual needs, strengths, and weaknesses. I adapt my tutoring methods to best fit the needs of the individual student. My number one concern is finding the approach that best suits the individual student. The continued improvement and success of the individual student is my true motivation.

I am currently a humanities department faculty member at University of Phoenix- Oakland campus. U.S. History is my main teaching focus, but math, physics and astronomy are areas of expertise as well. I have been a lecturer at San Francisco State in several departments including: history, geography, and American Indian studies. In addition, I have tutored students preparing to take both the GRE and SAT tests.
