"Hi! I'm a graduate of NYU Tisch with a BFA in Collaborative Arts magna cum laude and minors in Business of Entertainment and Disability studies. I was the first physically disabled graduate of my program, which I completed in three years with a Founder's Day Award for my academic accomplishment across my major, minors, and gen eds. In my time at NYU I participated in the CAxPS3 mentorship program where I mentored 5th graders with an aptitude for the arts, helping them with their schoolwork from a creative mindset. I am a current chess tutor with Storytime Chess where I teach 2-11-year-olds one-on-one, and have 2 years of experience teaching acting and dance at Adventure Theater MTC to 4-13 year olds in a classroom setting. (I've also tutored math, assisted in a homeschool English classroom, and volunteered with kids in an assortment of capacities).
My teaching is based around finding where the student's natural aptitude and interest is and discovering a way in" for them to begin understanding the new concept from the viewpoint of what they are already inclined towards. I love bringing creativity to my lessons and am passionate about precision when teaching with older kids, finding the balance of pushing them to do their best while equipping them with the tools to reach that point.
I am an AEA actor admitted with a scholarship to multiple top acting and musical theater programs across the country and am passionate about sharing the tools that helped me get there. As a songwriter, I've released 3 entirely self-produced albums and performed a cut of one at The Kennedy Center, and as a screenwriter and filmmaker, my work has shown at festivals across NYC and received accolades from notable contests such as the 2024 Final Draft Big Break Contest." less...
