"I have a master’s degree in voice from the Cleveland Institute of Music, and an undergrad in Vocal Performance from the University of Nebraska with a minor in theatre (graduated honorable mention from an Honors Program track, named Outstanding Senior by the faculty upon graduation.) I’ve been teaching private lessons in NYC for 10+ years, maintaining my own independent studio as well as teaching for some schools. I’ve sung classical music professionally also for 10+ years, and I’ve maintained a band that performs my original “indie singer-songwriter” music for that same amount of time. We’ve recorded several releases which are currently on streaming platforms, and we perform often at esteemed venues in NYC.

I teach all levels of voice, beginning guitar and beginning piano. I’ve taught ages 5-75! And I enjoy communicating with every different personality. I’m happy to meet people where they are with their skill level and move forward from there. My past students have gone on to achieve master’s degrees from distinguished colleges in music, entrance into fine arts high schools, auditions, formation and development of their own bands, and singing lullabies to their grandkids.
