"I am a retired elementary music teacher. I taught elementary music for 30 years. I’m excited to continue teaching piano (and also clarinet) through online teaching. I currently have 18 students and I am able to add more to my schedule! I love being able to instill confidence in my students, as they play. My goal is to encourage this confidence through fun routines and practice helps. I love it when my students can figure out a song on their own. I love it when my students are excited to share a song with me and/or their family and friends.

I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education. My major instrument in college was piano with a minor in clarinet. I still play clarinet in a small church orchestra. I also demonstrate songs for my students during lessons. In order to do this, I practice regularly to keep up my piano skills.
