I obtained my Bachelor's degree in Jazz Saxophone Performance from the prestigious Eastman School of Music in New York, where I studied for four years with Grammy award-winning saxophonist Charles Pillow. I also had the pleasure of working with faculty members and renowned jazz artists such as Clay Jenkins, Rich Thompson, and the legendary Bill Dobbins. I was a member of the top jazz ensemble, the 'Eastman Jazz Ensemble,' as well as many other groups during my time there. Though primarily a saxophonist, I am a multi-instrumentalist who is also well-versed on clarinet, flute, cello, and piano. I have a solid foundation and understanding of each instrument, as well as experience teaching them to ages ranging from young children to adults. I teach any and all genres of music, and am willing to work with you based on your preferences.
