"I am a composer, pianist, songwriter, music director and arranger with 30+ years' experience working in New York City. My primary areas of interest are classical music and musical theatre, but I'm knowledgeable about many areas of popular music as well. I teach composition, ear training and sight-singing, music theory and piano.

I have helped improve the musical skills of clients from age eight to seventy-two. My approach is patient and low-key; I find that motivation comes best from love of the material, rather than pep talks, browbeating or guilt. Many of my clients have told me that they appreciate my individualized approach, building on strengths to bolster weaknesses.
