"I hold bachelors degrees in both Biologic Science and Psychology and am in my last semester of graduate school for Biomedical Sciences. Throughout my entire adult life I have tutored many STEM subjects including biology, anatomy, physiology, chemistry, psychology, and sub-disciplines of each of those subjects. My methods are tailored to the student and I include creative learning aids, mnemonics, and pictures to help students retain the information at a higher level. I also help students develop their own study skills through research backed methods. The majority of my students have been high-school and undergraduates (age 16-22). In my time tutoring, I have had 100+ students with an average improvement of 1.2 letter grades after 1 semester of working together. With all of this being said, my aim is to help develop my student's knowledge and interest in the subject being taught while also helping them evolve as a student.
