I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from the University of South Florida and went on to complete my Doctor of Pharmacy at Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona. Following pharmacy school, I completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Practice residency in Bethesda, Maryland. Since 2009, I have maintained an active pharmacy practice in critical care in Baltimore, Maryland.

My teaching philosophy is grounded in the Socratic method, which focuses on asking thoughtful questions to help students identify their current understanding and build upon it with new concepts. This method encourages critical thinking and helps create meaningful connections between topics. I also incorporate a variety of learning strategies—such as visual aids, auditory techniques, and interactive exercises—to ensure the student remains engaged and can learn in a way that best suits their style.

When developing lesson plans, I like to begin by reviewing examples of the student’s current work and identifying the areas where they are struggling. From there, I reinforce key concepts through targeted homework, introduce new questions and examples, and provide opportunities for independent study and reflection.
