"I am an anthropologist with more than 25 years of experience teaching and tutoring in several countries, including the United States. I hold an MA from Stanford University and a PhD from the University of Texas at Austin.

As a tutor, I enjoy seeing my students acquire concepts, ideas and knowledge that shape their personal and professional development.

I was trained in a wide variety of anthropological topics about cultures around the world, and have extensive ethnographic experience in Latin America. My current research focuses on the Mayan highlands and rainforests of Mexico and Guatemala. I am always enthusiastic about intellectual exchanges with students who love nature, traveling and cultural diversity.

I am a native Spanish speaker with academic and literary knowledge of the Spanish language. As a tutor, I am convinced that learning a language is also learning a culture. I can help you develop your conversational and writing skills, while expanding your understanding of the Spanish-speaking world in order to enhance your educational experience and interpersonal competency.
