"I'm Juan, and I'm passionate about teaching Spanish (born and raised in Colombia) and English as a second language. With a Master's degree in ICT-mediated Educational Projects from Universidad de la Sabana (I graduated magna cum laude!), and a bachelor’s degree in teaching English, along with a specialization in Pedagogy from Universidad de la Amazonia, I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to my teaching practice.

During my time at the English Language Teaching Program (ELTP) of Universidad de la Amazonia, I had the privilege of instructing courses such as General English Composition, Intermediate and Advanced English, Methodology in Teaching English, and Teaching Practice. My dedication to education extended beyond borders as a former Fulbright - FLTA fellow at the University of Scranton, PA, where I engaged students in various Spanish courses.

I believe in the power of technology to enhance learning experiences, which is why I incorporate a variety of online resources and interactive tools into my classes. Whether it's through virtual simulations, multimedia presentations, or collaborative platforms, I strive to create dynamic and engaging lessons that cater to each student's unique learning style.
