"I am a Rice University college graduate and soon to be physician with a medical degree (M.D.) have experience working as an academic advisor for my peers throughout college. I have casually tutored my peers in various settings, and I have a strong foundation specifically in natural sciences and writing because I majored in Chemistry and Medical Humanities. I have an even greater understanding of more biological sciences with my soon to be completed medical degree. I enjoy interacting with new people and would love to be of any help to anyone who's striving to do well in school!

I took a number of natural science courses throughout college to complete my Chemistry degree, including several biology courses. I also conducted scientific research within a Biology and Chemistry lab at the Baylor College of Medicine while I was in school. Lab work is often a real life application of what you learn in class, and my work in research helped strengthen my knowledge in various subjects, specifically in biology and chemistry.

I have a lot of experience preparing my ESL students for the TOEFL exam, business interviews, and many other things. I focus on all 4 sections in my classes: reading, listening, speaking, and writing. I also have some experience teaching pronunciation.
